Maria Del Socorro Leon Pena was raised in Phoenix, AZ., she only knows America as her home. Because of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) she is able to work, go to school and give back to the community that accepted her with open arms. Young people like Maria are American in in every way but paperwork. We need to protect them and the American promise they represent.
