National Immigration Forum Action Fund Launches Six-Figure Digital Campaign Buy Supporting Dreamers

WASHINGTON, D.C. — With a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) deadline fast approaching, the National Immigration Forum Action Fund today launched a six-figure digital ad campaign, “America is Better with Dreamers,” to press members of Congress to pass legislation protecting Dreamers.

The ads feature Dreamers and others in their communities speaking candidly about how a DACA solution is crucial not just to these young people but also to the communities where they work and live. Today’s launch includes Arizona, South Carolina and Washington, with Illinois, Iowa, North Carolina and Texas slated to follow. The campaign will include social media and local television, local radio, and local newspapers’ websites.

“It is time for Congress and the White House to come together and find a sensible compromise for Dreamers that also addresses border security,” said Ali Noorani, Executive Director of the National Immigration Forum Action Fund. “Americans have come to know and depend on Dreamers who are going to school, working, laying down roots, paying taxes, and making their communities more prosperous and vibrant. This six-figure ad buy across seven states makes the case loud and clear that we need a permanent solution that benefits all Americans and an end to the anxiety and uncertainty.”
